Linnell Brothers Ltd are currently looking for a Class 3 to join the team at their head office in Silverstone near Northampton. This is a full time position and will come with a competitive salary. Multi Drop Experience preferred but not essential. Possibility of Class 2 work, if correct licence is held.

Over the years, Linnell Bros has diversified to offer a complete range of timber products, many of which are manufactured on-site in the company's comprehensively equipped workshop. We run a fleet of three 7.5t vehicles and four 26t Vehicles, with Crane unload
Key Skills Required
- Experience of multi drop deliveries.
- Experience of load safety, including strapping.
- Good customer facing skills
- Knowledge of Tacho Rules and Working Times
- Able to organise and manage workload well
- A valid driving licence, with a maximum of 6 points.
- Up to date CPC and Drivers Card.
Duties
- Helping to load vehicles, ensuring orders are complete, and planning best routes.
- Carrying out all daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the relevant person.
- Carry out multi drop deliveries and unloading vehicle by hand where required.
- Organising Delivery Paperwork and ensuring, where possible, delivery notes are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
- Keeping vehicle clean.
- Provide excellent customer service.

Key Skills Required
- Experience of working in an inbound sale advisor role, with a curious and proactive approach and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
- Motivation to secure and increase sales orders through existing and new business
- The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Able to organise and manage workload well
- A proven track record in acquiring and servicing external sales and business opportunities, often managing multiple orders and enquiries at once
- Strong commercial and financial understanding coupled with a professional and intelligent approach to capitalise on potential profitable business
- A full driving licence is preferred.

- Build strong internal relationships with branch and sales colleagues to identify and develop new, lapsed or dormant business opportunities
- Act as a key point of contact both internally and externally for any timber related queries and manage the supply and demand of timber in view of ongoing and forthcoming opportunities
- Create and build a pipeline of prospective business
- Develop trusting relationships both internally and externally in order to provide exceptional customer service to maintain repeat trade.
- Maximising all customer interactions by upselling and cross selling relevant products
- Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
